PS Drag Brunch Review (Unsponsored)

There are tons of Drag Shows in Palm Springs, and I definitely recommend checking one out if you are in town. The PS Drag Brunch is one of the most popular shows having won many awards including the “best drag brunch 2022”. It’s the show my husband and I saw during our time in Palm Springs. Keep reading for my review of the PS Drag Brunch. Spoiler alert: we had a blast!

PS Drag Brunch price

Prices below are from September 2023. I assume they are subject to change, so check the PS Drag Brunch website for current prices.

There are 3 levels to choose from at 3 different price points:

  • Basic Bitch- $70pp
  • Mean Girls- $90pp
  • Diva Class- $120pp

All 3 levels include the show, a 3-course brunch, and professional photography. Upgrading from the Basic Bitch package to the Mean Girls Package gets you bottomless mimosas (yaaas!). The Diva Class upgrade also gets bottomless mimosas plus upgraded food options and more professional photo coverage.

If you aren’t a drinker or if you just don’t like mimosas, then go with the Basic Bitch Package and save the extra cash to tip the drag queens. Otherwise, the Mean Girls package gets you the best deal. This is the option my husband and I chose. Personally, I think the seating for the Mean Girls package was even better than the Diva Class section since it was in the middle of the room, so we could see the performance on all sides of the room.

How is the food?

The menu probably changes occasionally, but I assume it follows the same general layout.

The first course, a yogurt parfait, was already waiting for us when we got to our seats. It was small, but it was tasty and a nice start.

The waiters made their way around the room before the show started to get mimosa/other drink orders and to get orders for the 2nd course. The Diva Class had more options to choose from, but us Mean Girls and Basic Bitches had the option of a breakfast sandwich or breakfast burrito.

Th mimosas came with the option of orange juice, cranberry juice, or grapefruit juice (you can also choose to have all three), and of course it’s all unlimited (unless you’re a Basic Bitch). I’m not a champagne/mimosa officiando, but I thought they were good!

The meal for the 2nd course was also excellent. My husband had the burrito, and I had the sandwich. I think his burrito was better, but we both very much enjoyed that course and found it filling.

The third course was 3 tiny (laughably tiny) churros. They were okay. I was full from the previous course, so I didn’t mind. I think the Diva Class had an upgraded desert.

The main event, the PS Drag Show

These queens put on a good show! Rosemary Galore proved to be a funny and entertaining host, and the other 3 queens were absolutely fun and fabulous! Maybe it was the mimosas, but the whole room was full of energy and dancing along for the entire show. There really was not a dull moment! Here is a video clip featuring queen Alexa Kamryn-Galore so you have an idea of the energy the performers brought:

Other things to know

As mentioned before, the show includes free professional photos. The photographer, Aaron, walks around throughout the show taking photos which you will have access to later. You also have the option to greet and take photos with the queens after the show. Just in case you are wondering, you can also take your own photos and videos as well, and you are encouraged to post and share them on social media.

In case you’ve never been to a drag show, tipping is pretty much expected (it’s how you show the queens that you are really enjoying their performance). You can get a stack of $1 bills when you arrive if you don’t already have cash on you.

PS Drag Brunch makes it easy to book for a large party. When I was planning this event, I didn’t know if I would have some other friends joining my husband and I or not. The show tends to book out early, so I asked through the PS Drag Brunch chat service what to do.  They recommended that I go ahead and book for the full party, and I could cancel the additional seats for a full refund as long as I cancel at least 24 hours in advance. This worked perfectly for us.

The verdict

I highly recommend the PS Drag Brunch in Palm Springs! It was a lot of fun for both my husband and I, and it would be a great option for a group event like a bachelorette party.

The show takes place in the Saguaro hotel, so I recommend making a day of it and getting day passes to the Saguaro pool where they have a DJ, music and a bar. Check out my review of the Saguaro pool here.
