My Mission

During the pandemic, I was working as a staff nurse in an intensive care unit which quickly became the covid unit. It was a really difficult and sad time.

Despite the negativity, those shifts inspired me. They inspired me to create the life that I want and to do it now. Life really is too short to not live it fully!

I want my life to be full of adventures and new experiences. What better way to make that happen than through travel nursing?

My mission is to share tools, tips and ideas with you so that you can also live an adventure-filled life through travel healthcare.

More About Me

Fast forward to the start of this website- I am working as a travel nurse (primarily in the emergency department). I travel with my husband (who works remote) and our two dogs.

So far, I have worked as a travel nurse in Texas (Dallas and Austin) and California (Santa Rosa, Palm Springs and Oakland).

As I continue to travel, I plan to write about things to do/see in each area. My hope is that this will help you get started with a list of things to look forward to on your next contract.

I also write posts with need to know information for travel nurses (and other travel healthcare professionals) with the goal of helping new travelers get started. If you have suggestions on topics you would like to see discussed, message me through my contact page.
